Cole has his 3 1/2 yr screening clinic a week and a half ago and got referred to the optometrist because he wasn't doing so hot with the eye chart. Our appointment was yesterday and it turns out that he has an astigmatisim on one eye and the other is perfect. Today I almost called the police because I thought my neighbour's dog was a burgler. Since moving to Fredericton, I've noticed one major difference between Miramichi and here...and that is the size of the squirrels. In Miramichi, a squirrle is a TINY little thing with a fluffy tail that scampers off if you look at it sideways from 100 yards away. On Sunday we got up relatively early and caught the bus downtown to go to Parliment Hill and wander around the grounds. It's nice that Canada will allow tourists to not only go on the grounds of the federal government center, but also go in to the building on tours all the time. This morning Jeff and I took Cole to the strawberry patch. It was a beautiful morning for it too. Kind of cool with a breeze blowing to keep the bugs away. We got our row and set Cole to work.
